Green and red colored resin panels that are ready to use, made from resin replicas of the original found parts that were used in the movie.
To achieve size accuracy, each original found part was 3d scanned and printed enlarged based on a tested percentage formula, which able us to account for the cast reduction. The result: our replicas pieces are exactly the same size as the original found part.
This method surpasses a direct casting since there’s no size reduction on the final pieces.
Color and transparency went under a thorough process of trial an error to perfectly match the original ones.
We use a high-pressure casting method to prevent bubble formation.
Once the pieces are casted, the excess resin is trimmed and each part is hand-polished to achieve the plastic shine.
Rocker Switches Set:
The set includes 4 rocker switches.
These pieces are designed to match the original shape of the rocker switches with a high-pressure casting process.
They are pre-colored in chalk white or grey. You can choose the combination that suits you best: all switches in chalk white or 1 chalk white and 3 grey.
You can use them as they come, but they are meant to be painted.
As for the switches final placement, you can glue them on your ANH Chest Box, or for a more accurate alignment and secure attachment, you can use the rear marks to make a hole and place a metal link between the box and the switches, while gluing them in place.
Leather Straps:
Made with the premium-quality leather we are renowned for.
They are 1-inch wide, adjustable, and made to fit the Classic Trilogy Chest Box (ANH, ESB or ROTJ).layers are fixed as one with a 3 mm screw.
Each rod is made from a single aluminum piece.
There are 2 screws in each rod to attach them to the chest box. They're easy to install and very secure for trooping.
Coin Slots:
The set includes 3 screen-accurate Coin Slots, 3 red acrylic inserts, and 6 screws.
The coin slots are square-shaped, water-cut and machined from aluminum, with threads at the back.
They're easy to install and very secure for trooping.
Chest Box:
Made with a high-pressure casting process.
During the developing stage, we opted for a combination of resin and fiber-glass so now the final product is more resistant.
This kit is the perfect option if you'd like to be more envolved in your build and assemble your own screen-accurate ANH Chest Box.
